CAMPAIGN BUTTONS of the Roaring 20

The 1920s may have been the roaring 20s but for campaign buttons the time period was lack luster to say the least. With the advent of tin lithographed buttons being made cheaply and the campaigns looking for cheap give-a-ways the items produced were graphically plain and the variety small.

The holy grail of political collecting is the Cox/Roosevelt Jugate, that comes in a few varieties. The small buttons picturing both James Cox and his running mate, FDR, are extremely scarce. Wish I had one.
